Looking to reduce energy bills and become less reliant on the grid, this homeowner wanted a solar solution that would generate renewable electricity and store excess energy for use when the sun isn’t shining.
Making the most of the property’s generous rooftop, we installed 24 solar panels alongside 24 optimisers and an 8kW inverter to maximise solar generation. We then installed a 10kWh battery in the garage, allowing the homeowner to store surplus electricity for use outside daylight hours, reducing reliance on grid electricity and making greater use of the energy generated at home rather than exporting it back to the grid.
